Over an hour now and no food yet...

Possibly most obnoxious service ever. Horrible quality food. The 54th street location is good. This one is an absolute joke

Horrible is all I can say. I ordered two chicken parm with spaghetti and a salad for me and my co-worker. The cheese was burnt, my salad was wilted and brown. The sauce was to clumpy. The chicken was okay but the presentation definitely me consider to not order from them at 7 pm ever again.

The delivery man tried to get an extra tip and claimed that I needed to sign the form and add a tip section when I filled out the tip section online already and confirmed the charged amount on my credit card that it did include the tip. The delivery man then gave me an attitude and yelled at me and called the restaurant and had someone on the phone yell at me too. I refused to sign the reciept and tip again. After being yelled at some more I was given my food.
Awful service for okay food. I am not ordering from here again.

Food is always good but the service sucks. They don't pay any attention to delivery instructions, so make sure to wait by the phone for the call from the lost delivery man. Oh, and he'll be rude on the phone, too!

Terrible, the food was lousy and the menu is misleading, I wouldn't order from there again if the food was free

Absolutely the WORST rubber like chicken I have ever had from this place - Marsala sauce resembled toilet water and tasted awful - either changed chefs or just had a bad night but in Manhattan, you do NOT get a 2nd chance, sorry Ray, off my list!!!!

Worst place I ever ordered from! First of all no attention to details! I ordered BBQ sauce and they brought me marinara! I paid for extra cheese with my fries and they didn't put it at all! After I called them I was told :"not a big deal" but I never got any apology or things i paid for!
The food was mediocre: fries was raw, chicken tenders overdone and not salty at all! Delivery took 30 min although I live one block up from this place!
Money and time waste!

The pizza is mediocre, but it's better than others.

Meh, Alright. I get there wings a lot, 911 is not hot at all, However Half the time I'm wondering if the chicken had super powers due to some strange limb mutation. Guess not if I'm eating him :/

The Food was good, the delivery was with reason.

Do not recommend it. The entire Pizza pie was spread all over the box. It was salty. Also, the order called for half pepperoni pie and the entire thing was pepperoni.

Just another one of those pizza you won't remember. It was a little less than mediocre.

Got the chicken parm and penne w/ vodka sauce. Was not very good. Penne had too much sauce. The chicken was impossible to cut and didn't taste very good.

this place takes forever. don't order here. they were an hour late, and it was not that great. famous original ray's is famous...for being late and not sweet.
Posted 5 years ago by David P.
It is just intolerable when they promise 15-30 minutes, take an hour, lie to you with "the guy is on the way," and refuse to make any accommodations. As I sit here, over an hour later, I still await my pizza which "left the store" 28 minutes ago.

Great food and delivery

The pizza and calzone was great but the delivery person got the building wrong and also when he did come to deliver the food, he had a nasty attitude.
Posted 5 years ago by Ruben S.
Terrible. Burned and very dry. Delivered just a few minutes after I ordered yet it was still not fresh. Delivery guy forgot to bring a pen but insisted I sign for the food.

Eeh. The pizza was decent-- good thin crust, but the sauce was too sweet for my taste.

This was the worst pizza I have ever had. If there is nothing open and this is the only place that delivers, you will be better off not eating. On a plus side delivery was on time.

Do not order from here...WARNING!!! The food all taste and smell like one of those new agey incense shops that I detest so unless you love eating incense flavored pizza or cannoli or anything....DO NOT order and waste your money.

Since I'm not from NYC, I was looking forward to trying a slice of Ray's Pizza (it's hard to know who is the Original Ray's). I wasn't disappointed. The slice of Ray's Special Slice was large and had great looking toppings (lots of meat). One slice is a meal in itself. I've also tried the Sausage Roll, which was not bad. I'll save my 4-star and 5-star ratings for something more amazing.

WORST. BBQ PIZZA. EVER.
Good delivery, however!

Best pizza in NYC!

The staff who work the early morning hours are incompetent. They have gotten my order wrong on several occasions. It's hard to understand because it's done over the web and is in plain writing.

Horrible Pizza. I always forget and usually get sucked in b/c I've had a bit too much too drink and its the only place open extra late.
Posted 9 years ago by Greg K.
i've always been a rays fan but it took them 25 minutes past the 50 minutes they said the would deliver in. i had to call to check and the guy just said 10 minutes more... no apologies at all. so an hour and fifteen minutes after i placed my order, the delivery guy, who only had a half block delivery, calls me down from my office to pick it up. he wasn't even there yet. it was after 10pm so there was not many places open but i would not order from here if you're looking for anything timely. stay away from this rays, there's others a block away that are better.
